CHARGES, TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
RATES EFFECTIVE FROM 5 APRIL 2003 to 4 APRIL 2004 Fees
(Palantype equipment rental and
pre-dictionary work inclusive):
£250 per attendance
£350 per attendance if including rental of data projector (NB This does
not include the provision of a white screen. This must be provided
by the client)
Subsistence:
Overnight accommodation including breakfast to be
provided if journey to assignment is expected to begin before 6.30 am.
Lunch and sundries during the day if not already
provided.
Evening meal / snack if arrival home after travel
extends beyond 6.30 pm.
Travel:
a) Car mileage rate @ 40 pence per mile. Car
parking fee (where appropriate).
b) Standard rail fare.
c) Standard air fare.
d) Taxis, where necessary, if travelling by public
transport.
Travel time:
Inclusive within fee rate.
Transcript fees:
Edited / unedited first-draft transcript @ £40
Fully edited transcript (disc or e-mail file) @ £1.00
per folio
Cancellation fees:
0-7 days’ notice = 100% (full fee)
8-14 days’ notice = 50% (half fee)
Interest charges:
10% surcharge on payments received more than 2 calendar
months from date of invoice.
